Hellyers Road Distillery Dark Harmony Australian Whisky (700ml)

Using Hellyer's x-whisky barrels, Communion Brewing Co. aged Sovereign Stout then returned the barrels to the distillery. A strangely perfect ensemble was born with a tryst between a seventeen-year-old single grain and a 2016 single malt finished in the stout casks. The outturn was 377 bottles at 52% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Tropical summer fruits, marmalade, lime and salted caramel. A rich affair of ginger with orange hints, toffee sweetness and subtle chocolate. Decadent; fruity sweetness envelops the palate with oily richness.
