Hazelburn CV Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The latest addition to the range of whiskies produced at Springbank, Hazelburn gains it's light, delicate character from unpeated barley and being distilled three times instead of twice as is the standard for Scotch Single Malt. 'CV' (curriculum vitae) represents a 'resume' of the various Hazelburn bottlings, being a vatting of Hazelburn single malts of various ages (6, 8 & 12 years) which have been matured in Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Tasting note: Pale gold. Moderate aromatics reveal butter menthol, vanilla wafer biscuit and subtle stone fruit notes. The palate is generous with semi sweet, boiled confectionary, cereal and spice flavours delivered with a warming spirit heat. Very clean. Excellent balance. Persistent butter menthol, sweet cereal aftertaste. A lip smacking daily dram. 46% Alc./Vol.
