This is the most recent single malt produced at the iconic Springbank distillery in Campbeltown.
1997 saw the first distillation of Hazelburn which is triple distilled and made from entirely unpeated, air dried barley. The initial release as an eight year old in 2006 was so successful that all 6,000 bottles sold out within a matter of weeks. A twelve year old version is scheduled to be released in 2009.
