Hazelburn 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Released in August 2009 and limited to 3900 bottles, Hazelburn 12 YO is named after one of the long defunct Campbeltown distilleries (as is Springbank's heavily peated expression, 'Longrow').

This whisky displays none of the subtle peatiness evident in the Hazelburn 8 year old, a whisky which tends to pick up some residual peat flavours from the Springbank and Longrow spirit runs, despite itself being labeled 'unpeated' - something of a paradox in the world of Scotch whisky that tends to cause a degree of confusion!

The 12 year old is triple distilled, matured in x-Sherry casks and bottled non chill filtered.
