The ninth batch of heavily peated Kilkerran comes matured in 90% x-Bourbon and 10% x-Sherry casks. As with previous editions, even though these are relatively young whiskies, they showcase the distillery style first and foremost. Expect a robust coastal malt, dappled with citrus, pepper and mineral notes, but most of all, peat, especially on the finish.
