Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran 20th Anniversary Single Cask 17 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Destined to be one of the most coveted releases in the 2025 whisky calendar: A Kilkerran specifically selected and bottled to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of Glengyle Distillery in 2004. It would appear there are slightly different bottlings for different countries, each limited to around 250-300 bottles per run. Distilled in May 2007, matured in a refill sherry hogshead and decanted in June 2024, the Australian importer has received around 100 units. We certainly don't expect to see this at the opening price again, so anyone quick on the draw will hit instant pay dirt. 58.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the producers... Nose: Elegant aromas of dried fruits, sherry-soaked raisins, and hints of warm spice. Palate: Layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and stewed fruits complemented by gentle oak and a touch of sea salt. Finish: Long and warming, with lingering sherry sweetness and a whisper of smokiness.
