Gelas De Bortoli Noble One Finish 10 Year Old Single Cask Armagnac (700ml)

Another Gelas Bas Armagnac, this time finished in casks that previously held Australia's famous sweet white, De Bortoli 'Noble One'. Generally recognised as the pinnacle of Australian sweet winemaking, it tends to be richer and sweeter than examples from Sauternes.

Tasting note: Flawless amber gold. Borders on floral with aromas of toast and honey, candied apricot/orange and hints of potpourri. Mildly astringent delivery includes orange spice cake, peel-heavy marmalade, bitter chocolate, fine tannins and suggestions of dried prune / apricot late in the aftertaste. Impressive persistence. 50.2% Alc./Vol. 320 bottles.
