G.E. Massenez Poire Williams Eau de Vie (700ml)

Created by Eugene Massenez in 1913 using ripe, hand-picked Williams pears, unlike liqueurs labeled as 'Poire William', this spirit is medium-dry instead of sweet, boasting fresh aromas of crisp pear and apple tart with grappa-like vibrancy and lip-smacking acidity. A flicker of alcohol and pepper heat fade with residual orchard fruit character. Serve it from the freezer in between courses to cleanse and revive the palate. 40% Alc./Vol.
