Fruitlab Organic Ginger Liqueur (750ml)

Husband and wife team, Melkon Khosrovian and Litty Mathew, began making spirits and liqueurs in 2004. Their company "Greenbar Collective", employs organic ingredients as the couple believe they translate into better flavours. Greenbar also uses lightweight bottles, 100% recycled labels and plants a tree for every bottle sold. Presently they offer the world’s biggest portfolio of organic spirits and liqueurs.

Tasting note: Bright gold. Initial whiffs are reminiscent of old drawers and potpourri with ginger biscuit playing second fiddle. Aeration releases flashes of ginger beer but the inherent pungency of the root struggles to shine. Further exposure edges the aroma towards flat ginger beer. The glycerous, sweet profile possesses more authentic heat but lacks the vibrancy associated with fresh cut ginger. Concludes short, flabby and faint with a sweet ginger biscuit fade. 20% Alc./Vol.
