Tasting note: [near empty bottle] The viscous appearance shows ideal clarity. Nosing detects lifted, no-nonsense aromas of lemon sorbet and light kumquat, avoiding being overly sweet. Svelte-textured, medium bodied delivery is luscious and marmalade-like with subtle tangerine tartness to finish. Aftertaste is light on the tongue, reasonably long, accenting lemon-meringue. Upping the acidity for added authenticity and balance would further improve this. 22% Alc./Vol.
