According to more than one taster, don't let the age and cheap price of this Bourbon fool you. Instead, get ready to be pleasantly surprised. Like other BIBs, this 100 proof version of the world's second largest selling Bourbon is aged under U.S. Government supervision to meet the standards first enacted by Congress in 1897. Bottled-in-Bond guarantees quality and assures consumers the product is at exactly 100 proof, the result of one distilling season at one distillery, aged at least four years, and clearly labelled with name of the distillery who made it.

Other reviews... a fresh, simple aroma relying heavily on heather honey topped with liquorice. A super salivating delivery with the spices upfront and early... and determined to linger. A satisfying corn lick which does nothing to diminish the good work of those spices or deter the late, light, toasty molasses; a serious step up from the last time I tasted this. Beautiful nose of peanut brittle, caramel crème candy, mint syrup, and dusty leather. A very approachable whiskey with a generous palate teeming with notes of creamed corn, cinnamon rock candy, and a slight whiff of campfire smoke. 91 points - Excellent, Highly Recommended - Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2021

...Some bourbons are balanced or complex; this is an all-around versatile pour with initial notes of lightly toasted oak, brown sugar, and butterscotch. A fun maltiness, concentrated caramel, and slight hints of cinnamon and watermelon Juicy Fruit hammer home its sipping potential, but its short to medium finish suggests that it’s more suited for cocktails.
