The offspring of Edradour, Ballechin attained a quasi-cult status after just fifteen years of ‘new’ ownership. The first release of its kind for 2022 is a limited edition from the 'SBCS' series (Small Batch Cask Strength) bottled from a vatting of first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill oloroso sherry butts. We love all of these hugely expressive and quite singular sherried Ballechins. As far as heavy peat goes, it's a style that you really can't go wrong with. Non chill filtered. 58.9% Alc./Vol. Very limited stocks from an outturn of 3520 bottles.
