Dunnet Bay Distillers Rock Rose Citrus Coastal Gin (700ml)

Flavourful, fresh and zesty with a bracing sea air finish, Dunnet Bay's Coastal Citrus gin was originally distilled as an exclusive for Scotland's Craft Gin Club in August 2020. It was so well received, they decided to make it part of the core range. Inspired by the Caithness coastline and is created using locally foraged kelp sourced from the Hebridean Mustard Company, botanicals include Shore Seaweed and salt blended with pure liquorice root and aniseed. Lemon verbena is also in the mix -  a perennial woody shrub with a bright citrus flavour. The result is an incredibly smooth gin with a delectably sweet taste and a delicious salted edge. 41.5% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... NOSE: Warm juniper notes giving way to bright lemon and verbena notes. PALATE: Fresh citrus balanced with oceanic umami flavour of kelp. FINISH: A hint of salinity coming through from the liquorice salt with more citrus on the finish.
