Don Amado Minero 100% Agave Espadin Anejo Mezcal (750ml)
$180. 00 Bottle
Produced at Real de Minas, a palenque at Santa Catarina Minas, near Ocotlan, Don Amado's Anejo expression is aged for eighteen months in barrels that formerly held Pedro Domecq Mexican Brandy. These Mezcals typically include one-third tobala, which is more pungent than espadin, hence, reviews often note that they retain a good degree of agave character, which is unusual considering how long this is barrel aged. Double distilled and triple filtered for purity, the style is considered on the smokier side. It's no wonder these Mezcals have found favour amongst lovers of Islay whisky. Note: ABV may vary from batch to batch.
