Tasting note: From one of the only grain-to-glass distilleries in the UK. Nine botanicals include locally sourced elderflower, Guatemala green cardamom and grains of paradise from Africa. Mellow, floral-soft aromas of orange spice cake / lemon sorbet, develop with hints of elderflower(?), pepper and balsa wood. A seamless, light to medium bodied gin with a creamy, warming mouthfeel; herbal teas, earthy juniper and background citrus dovetail into thyme and lemon oregano. Impressive length. Nuanced and progressive despite its traditional botanical range. Try it with a wedge of pink grapefruit. 41.2% Alc./Vol.
