Daylesford Spirit Triple Barrel Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

Made with harvested Mount Franklin water and Australian grain, this limited release, triple-barrelled whisky was aged in bourbon casks, then finished in PX and Oloroso sherry. We received a tiny 20ml sample, leaving the impression of a lightish, pastry-soft malt, almost floral in moments, with a gorgeous feminine character framed by clean oak and spices. The distillers state it's deliberately styled like a Scottish Highlander, but it could equally pass for a polished, malt-heavy blend. 48% Alc./Vol.
