Larry Emdur approached Corowa back in 2020 with the dream of creating a special whisky for his family & friends. Working closely with Head Distiller, Beau Schilg, Larry was able to develop a signature flavour that ended up tasting so good, Corowa decided to add it to their range. Ex tawny port & bourbon barrels make for a tasty, medium-bodied, biscuity malt with a little extra plumpness from the fortified casks. The finish is crisp, peppery, then more creamy and vanilla-laced. It feels like an east-coast Speysider. As the producers say, "approachable sweetness & a deliciously savoury character".
