Like some Scottish distilleries, Corowa reserve one month per year to create peated whisky. This very accessible example was aged in x-American Oak Bourbon casks, softening the peat and adding delicious cream, vanilla & fruits to the palate. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
Notes from the producers... Nose: Soft peat, vanilla & green fruit. Palate: Whisps of smoke, clotted cream, grass & vanilla. Finish: Medium to long smoke with a creamy coating.
