Bruichladdich Waves Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

This is the repackaged edition of Bruichladdich Waves, which has now dropped its age statement (and the peating level slightly too, we're told, down to approx. 15ppm). Initially matured in x-Bourbon casks before finishing in Madeira. Non chill filtered and with no colouring added. 46% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Not sure if the tide is coming in or out on this one. Got various sugar and spice aspects which appeals, but there is something lurking in the depth that makes me a little uneasy. 81.5 points - Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2012size>
