Peated at 140ppm, this sophisticated but youthful release is Bruichladdich's answer to Ardbeg Supernova.
Tasting note: [Cursory note taken from a 10ml sample] Pale straw colour. The initial creamy, lanolin laced vanilla and penetrating peat reek opens to reveal tar and wet earth, sweet manure, anchovies, cocoa and more. The stunning bouquet follows through on the creamy, oily palate with intense, tingly, lanolin, citrus oil, choc fudge and sweet tobacco. Well balanced at cask strength. Finishes super long. One of the most complete and complex Islays currently available. Benchmark. 62.5% Alc./Vol.
