The distillery describes this as the oldest and most prestigious Arran ever released. Created from a very limited selection of old and rare Sherry Hogsheads laid down during the earliest days of production at Lochranza Distillery, it showcases some of the oldest maturing stock ever produced on the Isle of Arran. Carefully chosen Sherry casks have allowed the spirit to develop rich layers of dried fruit, dark chocolate, warming spice and polished oak, while retaining the signature fruit-forward character that defines whisky from Lochranza Distillery. As befits such a landmark release, the presentation is equally impressive. The whisky is housed in a beautifully crafted natural wood presentation box with elegant copper accents, alongside a bespoke bottle and premium woodgrain-embossed label, reflecting the quality and heritage contained within. 46% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.

Notes from the producers... Nose: Citrus notes of orange and mandarin, accompanied by ripe apples and a warm vanilla note. There are also subtle hints of toasted oak and a delicate sweetness reminiscent of cream candies. Taste: Full-bodied with sweet honey and toffee, underpinned by ripe fruit and vanilla. Spicy notes and a hint of salty oak round out the flavor. Finish: Long-lasting with orange peel, toffee, and a light dried fruit note. The oak leaves a subtly spicy finish.
