Ardbeg Twenty Something 22 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Following on the heels of last year’s Twenty Something 23 year old is the latest release in the Ardbeg Twenty Something series paying tribute to the whisky enthusiasts of yesteryear.

Born during a period of uncertainty for Ardbeg in the 1980s and 1990s, when the stills were near empty and the filling store silent, a handful of young whisky enthusiasts banded together and laid down a handful of casks, keeping the Ardbeg spirit alive. This is the result. On the nose, expect luscious tropical fruits fading into sweet smoke, soot and tar. Take a sip and discover fresh green apples with a crumble topping while notes of peppermint tea and vanilla guide you towards a long smoky finish.

Non chill filtered, x Bourbon casks, distilled in Spring 1996 and bottled in July 2018.
