Yet another take on traditional aquavit - this Danish treat is flavoured not with caraway or fennel like other aquavit, but with the Porse plant, known as the 'Myrica Gale' in other parts of the world. It's native to northern and western Europe and parts of northern North America where it's been used as a remedy for stomach aches, fever, bronchial ailments and liver problems. 40% Alc./Vol.
