Like 42 Below's Feijoa Flavoured Vodka, the production process is very similar for this Passionfruit version, though this time using a fruit that is more globally recognised, and perhaps less uncompromising in flavour. As the flavour of Passionfruit is more subtle than other vodka flavours such as citrus and Feijoa, more of the fruit is needed to impart an equivalent effect.
Tasting Notes: The first nosing provides a fruity/ripe experience that’s elegant and restrained; aeration allows the bouquet to evolve into a splendidly fruit-salad fragrance. Palate entry is bittersweet and juicy; by midpalate, the flavor profile accents the grainy spirit as well as the passionfruit infusion. Finish is long and more beany than fruity. 85-89 points 42%Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Clear. Floral, kiwi fruit and mango punch aromas. A soft round entry lead to a slight tannic off-dry light to medium bodied palate with kiwi fruit, tropical melon punch, and cinnamon flavors. Finishes with a fruit punch gum and pepper fade. Fun. 42% Alc./Vol.
