Fleshy nectarine, peach, Jonathan apple and quince fruits with a slatey gun flint like back drop.
Brilliant pale straw colour with green tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and peach skin mix with some quince and gun flint like notes. Fleshy nectarine, peach, Jonathan apple and quince fruits meld their way into a slatey gun flint like back drop. Fresh acidity with a generously fruited mid length conclusion.

Other Reviews……
It opens with secondary aromas, those derived from winemaking, in this case from lees contact and oak maturation. Think of cinnamon and vanilla curd. These are followed by spicy nashi pear, peaches, preserved peach, pineapple, Granny Smith apple. Although the secondary characters initially take centre stage, they soon integrate with the fruit profile. The palate is textural yet crisp and vibrant, very much a medium-bodied style at 12.5% alcohol. The acidity is both inviting and essential, preventing the secondary characters from overwhelming the palate. Fortunately, that never happens. It ends with a discreet fruit profile alongside plenty of creaminess. Overall, this is an excellent everyday Chardonnay that ticks all the boxes.
