Nicely shaped with delicious peach, pear and apricot fruits complimented by gentle honeysuckle characters.

Established in 1860 and purchased by the Purbrick family in 1925, Tahbilk has the world’s largest single holding of Marsanne, a grape that plays a major role in some of the worlds most famed white wines, those of Hermitage in Northern Rhone.
Brilliant very pale straw almost water like core with a subtle greenish tinge to the edges. Lifted pear and apricot scents are trailed by honeysuckle, peach and floral notes. Delicious fleshy peach, pear and apricot fruits carry nice shape across the palate. Gentle honeysuckle, honeydew melon and spice elements the undercard. Fresh acidity with a long, well fleshed conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 12%

Other Reviews……
So fine, so delicate and just starting its journey. With a liveliness of florals, it smells like spring itself: honeysuckle, white flowers, acacia, green almond, apple and honeydew melon. Zesty fresh, it strikes a lively balance between racy, lemony acidity and a floral, citrus prettiness. Green apple, light florals, grapefruit pith and zest run long and true and crunchy fresh. Looking good for a bright future, should you be thinking of it. Or, open with shellfish now and enjoy. Drink by 2035.
