2025 Rob Hall Gamay
Light, juicy and fresh with joyous red to dark fruits and vibrant acidity.
Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright purple red hue. A fragrant mix of freshly crushed cherries, raspberries and strawberries carry an earthy incense like overlay with hints of liquorice and dried herbs also evident. Light, juicy and fresh the palate is decorated with a red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits. Subtle infusions of earthy incense like characters, dried herbs, anise and spice lie underneath. Faintly chalky tannins with vibrant acidity lending energy to the joyous finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews……
Made with 50% whole bunches and matured in older puncheons and hogsheads. A vivid crimson purple. A very bright bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, rose and aromatic spices. Medium bodied, this fills out nicely on the mid-palate. I like the al dente tannins giving the wine structure and focus. An utterly delicious wine to drink now and over the next two to three years. Drink by 2029.
