2025 Protero Pinots

A delicious, slippery textured Pinot Grigio dominate blend.

A blend of 77% Pinot Grigio, 19% Pinot Blanco and 4% Pinot Nero. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Elevated pear and red apple aromas mix with light honeysuckle and wet stone notes. Delicious pear and red apple fruits carry a round, shapely feel across the palate. Notions of lime, delicate quince and stony mineral elements linger underneath. Brisk acidity with a long, slippery textured and highly moreish finish.
Drink over the next year.

A blend of mostly pinot gris with a larger balance of pinot bianco and a smaller one of pinot nero (noir). It's a textural feast, slippery and grippy through the finish. Quite a bit of talc and ginger, some peachy notes, lots of nashi pear. It feels great to drink, super easygoing, but with some more interest from the varied varieties playing well. Good, chirpy white is the result. Drink by 2027.
