Rich, supple and expansive with a power wave of dark cherry, strawberry and anise fruits flooding the palate.
Established in 2008, Onannon is a joint venture between Mount Mary winemakers Sam Middleton and Kaspar Hermann as well as the well travelled Will Bryon. The focus is on Mornington Peninsula & Gippsland Pinot Noir with several releases receiving great acclaim.
Dark red core with black toned edges and a light red hue to red hue. Perfumed nose with aromatics of violet, dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb soaring out of the glass trailed by some brambly cedar, dried herb, forest floor and spice notes. Rich and supple, a power wave of dark cherry, strawberry and anise fruits flood the palate. Subtle rhubarb, brambly cedar, forest floor and spicy dried herb elements lend further complexity. Silky smooth tannins with a long, expansive finish.
