2025 Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Riesling

A Riesling of excellent intensity, drive and tension with a long, super crisp finish.

Brilliant water like core with green tinged edges. Pronounced lime juice and Granny Smith apple aromas are followed by hints of mandarin, chalky talc and steely mineral notes. Zesty lime, lemon and green apple fruits are underscored by racy mineral infused acidity with some chalky talc and wet steel elements also evident. Excellent intensity, drive and tension with a long, super crisp finish. Mouth watering!
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

The Victorian Grampians region does produce some of the country’s best Rieslings. In this case, the crunchy, pebbly characters that seem to be evident in this area are certainly making a statement here. It has a vibrant crystalline purity almost, with a minerally lemon rind edge. This wine has wonderful current drinking but has some significant cellaring potential. Drink 2026-2041.
