2025 Mandala Pinot Noir
A delicious Yarra Valley Pinot that has a silky feel and lengthy finish.
Matured for 9 months in 25% new French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant scents of violet, red to dark cherry and strawberry sail from the glass trailed by some clove, bramble and spicy rhubarb notes. Delicious cherry and strawberry fruits are layered across the palate with a supple feel. Some brambly forest floor, dried herb and spice elements unfold across the back half. Silky smooth tannins with a polished feel to the lengthy finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13%
Other Reviews….
Fruit from Yarra Junction and Dixons Creek. A light ruby garnet. Gently fragrant with its aromas of strawberries, rose petals, white pepper and cinnamon. It's medium bodied and persistent, with enough tannin to suggest this will take six to 12 months to approach its ideal drinking window. Drink by 2029.
