2025 Frenchman’s Cap Pinot Noir

Produced by Fogarty Wine Group, owners of Deep Woods Estate and Dalwhinnie to name a few, this would have to be one of the best value Pinots coming out of Tasmania.

Rich, supple and powerful this is one super moreish Tassie Pinot.

Semi translucent red to dark red core with black shaded edges and a vibrant light red hue. Wonderfully fragrant aromas of violet, dark cherry, strawberry and anise impress with their intensity. Some bramble, rhubarb, forest floor and spicy cedar notes are also evident. Rich and juicy, the palate is engulfed with spicy dark cherry, strawberry and anise flavours. Supple and polished with silky smooth tannins, subtle brambly rhubarb, dried herb and forest floor characteristics lend further interest. Boasting an excellent power wave it has a long, expansive finish that’s super moreish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
