Dark purple red core with black toned edges and a bright purple red hue. Fragrant ripe cherry and strawberry aromas infused with incense blossom out of the glass followed by some fresh herb, earth and spice notes. Juicy cherry, strawberry and anise flavours show boundless energy across the palate with infusions of incense, fresh herbs and subtle spicy earth also chiming in. Polished tannins and lively acidity with a vibrant, fruity finish.

A nouveau style with some serious attention to detail, offering an unusual depth of flavour and length. Dark crimson-purple hues. Scents embrace redcurrants, cherry, wild strawberries, intriguing florals, aromatic herbs and Aussie bush and soil. There's an inviting textural warmth across the middle palate, velvety smooth and flavour expressive, before it finishes long with a brisk flourish of acidity and a lasting herbal intensity. All of this for $25 a bottle! That's one heck of a bargain. Drink by 2029.
