The 2025 Marquis de Terme is terrific, not to mention one of the finest wines I have tasted here. Rich, ample and explosive, the 2025 has so much to offer, starting with its impressive textural depth. Blackberry, gravel, dark spice and licorice add a palpable dimension of somber intensity, while Floral overtones perk up the close. This is seriously impressive. Tasted three times. Drink 2033-2055.

Deep purple-hued, the 2025 Château Marquis De Terme sports a rich, powerful nose of black fruits, smoke, ripe blueberries, iron, and chocolate. Based on 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot that will spend 14-16 months in 40% new French oak, it's full-bodied on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Checking in at 13% alcohol, it's a powerful expression of this château that still holds onto a solid sense of purity and balance. Notably, this is the first vintage for winemaker Paloma Sénéclauze.

Gorgeously pure blackcurrants and black cherries, so precise and fragrant on the nose – really intense and expressive. Sumptuous and succulent, this has a great juiciness with plenty of life and energy. Tannins are prominent and filling but soft and velvety not dry at all. Feels well made. Drink 2032-2045.
