2024 Yalumba Vine Vale Grenache Blanc
A racy dry white with a refreshing, mineral laced finish.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with green tinted edges and a watery hue. Lifted pear and red apple skin aromas mix with hints of lime and wet slate. Racy green pear, lime and green apple fruits line the palate with some wet stone and flinty mineral elements lying underneath. Crisp acidity with an energetically refreshing mineral laced finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 12%
Other Reviews….
I'm seeing an increase in grenache blanc in the Barossa and I am totally here for it. Pale in the glass, aromas of poached pear, grapefruit and green apple with hints of crushed quartz, white flowers, almond paste and clover blossom. It has a slinky, briney palate shape and I'm a sucker for some briney slink! I imagine myself, windswept and interesting, drinking this in an exotic locale while eating grilled shellfish, and I'm sold. You will be too. Drink by 2027.
