2024 Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

Quite plump and juicy with a refined mid length finish.

A blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Shiraz matured for 10 months in 12% new French and Hungarian oak hogsheads. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Dark plum, blackcurrant and liquorice aromas sail out of the glass followed by some spicy vanillin cedar, subtle tobacco and peppered earth notes. Quite plump and juicy, the palate features rich blackcurrant and dark plum fruits over mulberry, red liquorice, spicy vanillin cedar and tobacco elements. Finely grained tannins with a refined mid length finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
