2024 XO Wine Co Small Batch Pinot Noir

Amply powered and expansive with delicious red to dark fruits and a supple feel.

Fruit was sourced from three vineyards in the Southern Adelaide Hills with a varying portion of whole bunch ferments for each parcel. Maturation took place in French oak (15% new) for a period of 7 months.
Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a vibrant red hue. Sailing from the glass with a perfumed like intensity are aromas of violets, dark cherries, strawberries, anise and clove. Some brambly cedar, forest floor and spice notes also chime in. Delicious red to dark cherry, strawberry and more subtle anise flavours flood the palate. Smoky dried clove, brambly forest floor and spice elements ensue. Amply powered and expansive, it carries a supple feel and possesses polished tannins. There’s a lick of freshness across the long, moreish finish.
