2024 William Fevre Petit Chablis
Fresh and frisky yet shapely with a saline edged finish.
Founded by William Fevre in 1957 the domaine has grown to now become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which 15.9 hectares are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus. The Petit Chablis was matured in stainless steel vats for a period of 8-10 months to preserve freshness.
Brilliant pale straw colour with flashes of green to the edges and a watery hue. Elevated lime and green apple aromas are intermeshed with pear, fresh herb and wet stone notes. Fresh and frisky yet shapely, the palate is layered with lime and green apple fruits which meld into a fresh herb infused back drop of wet stones and a saline like minerality. Crisp acidity with an energised finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
