Other Reviews…..
The 4 Acres vineyard was planted in 1879 in deep red clay soils over limestone, making it the oldest block on the Tyrrell’s Ashmans property. It has a hypnotic aroma of dusty terracotta, pink peppercorn, raspberry and strawberry, leading into cranberry and pomegranate flavours. The palate has magnificent depth, yet also refreshing acidity, adding length, energy and poise. Despite its concentration, it remains light-footed and precise. Drink by 2044.
