2024 Turon Pinot Noir
Light to medium bodied and powerful with a supple mid palate feel, underlyingly sturdy tannins and a long moreish finish.
Wild fermented with 30% whole bunch inclusion and maturation in French oak for a period of 9 months. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Fragrant violet scents combine with dark cherry, strawberry and subtle anise. Some spicy cedar, forest floor and dried herb notes are also evident. Delicious ripe dark cherry and strawberry fruits carry a supple flow across the light to medium bodied palate. Subtle anise, spicy cedar, forest floor and dried herb elements the undercard. Powerful and concentrated it has polished yet underlyingly sturdy tannins and a long moreish, spice laden finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews…..
A firm, tannin-strict style with dried Italianate herbs draped on dark cherry, cola, faint mocha and some granitic, smoky elements, all playing well together. A little juiciness, but more about being a dry, savoury style than anything. Structured and serious; this is one for big glasses and a good decant to get its best. Proper stuff. Drink by 2035.
