2024 Turkey Flat Butcher’s Block Grenache Shiraz Mataro
Rich and juicy with a long, generously fruited finish.
Matured for 12 months in French oak hogsheads and puncheons. Deep dark red black tinged core with a red to dark red hue. Dark raspberry, ripe dark cherry and liquorice scents jump out of the glass followed by some vanillin spice notes. Rich and juicy, the mid weighted palate features dark raspberry, cherry, liquorice and dark plum fruits over a subtle earth and vanillin spice back drop. Nicely fleshed it has polished tannins and ample underlying freshness. Long, generously fruited finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 14.5%

This is a hit. This is a buy. This is $27 well spent.
Raspberries and rust, florals and aromatic herbs, a slip of chocolate and dives into deeper, darker berry flavours. This is lively, pretty and solid at once; it has a bit of a negroni-Campari-orange aspect to it; it’s easy-going but it has substance. Drink 2026-2030+
