2024 Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles Blanc
A blend of 25% Roussanne, 24% Marsanne, 24% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette and 7% Viognier. Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts. Peach, apricot skin and delicate honeysuckle scents are trailed by some citrus and spice notes. Vibrant peach and fresh apricot fruits overlay a back drop of faint honeysuckle, citrus and stony mineral characters. Crisp acidity finishing dry and deliciously fresh with a dash of ginger.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13%
Other Reviews.....
The 2024 Cuvée Juveniles Blanc was released in August 2024, and the wine has almost sold out. Named after the wine bar for which it was created, in the 1st arrondissment in Paris, the wine is textural and clothy, with wet chalk, lemon pith, white flowers and brine. It's a lovely wine, quite savory and detailed, with good length. The balance of the 2024 season is evident in the glass and on the persistent finish. This is very good. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink 2025-2034.
