Mid weighted with a short finish dominated by toasty vanillin oak.
Fruit was sourced from Heathcote and Bendigo. Midnight black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced liquorice, ripe black cherry and blackberry aromas engulf the nostrils followed by some toasty vanillin oak and peppered earth notes. On the mid weighted palate liquorice and black cherry fruits are quickly overwhelmed by a prominent toasty vanillin oak component. Some peppered earth elements also chime in. Fine grained tannins with a short finish dominated by toasty vanillin oak.
