Fresh, elegant Yarra Valley Chardonnay.
Fermented and matured in 100% French oak puncheons, demi muid and barriques (10% new oak) for a period of 7 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of pear and nectarine are interwoven with hints of biscuity nougat, dried honey and a faint whiff of gun flint. Fresh nectarine and pear fruits are underpinned by citrusy acidity which lends an energetic feel. Biscuity nougat and flint elements also chime in. Finishes fresh and elegant.
