Mid weighted with a subtle creaminess counterpointed by lively acidity.
Wild fermented with maturation taking place in French oak, (20% new) for a period of 11 months. Approximately 40% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation. Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Expressive ripe peach, honeycomb and biscuity nougat aromas fill the nostrils with some crème brulee, cashew and spice notes also chiming in. Mid weighted the palate features white peach and bright citrus fruits over a crème brulee, biscuity oak, dried honey and spice back drop. Lively acidity is counterpointed by a subtle creaminess through the energetic finish.
