2024 Rob Hall Chardonnay
Medium bodied and nicely shaped with a creamy texture feel.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Drifting through the olfactory senses are aromas of pear and nectarine which meld with dried honey, cashew and citrusy nougat notes. Nicely shaped with a creamy texture feel upon entry, pear and nectarine fruits are featured over a dried honey, cashew and spicy nougat back drop. Perfectly judged acidity with a long cream tinged finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13%
Other Reviews…..
A blend of fruit from Healesville, Gladysdale and Panton Hill. Bright green gold. An immediately accessible wine with its aromas of ripe stone fruits, fresh guava and a touch of spice. The palate is flavoursome with just enough acidity to keep it both gently structured and balanced. Drink by 2028.
