2024 Provenance Golden Plains Pinot Noir

Light and savoury with an elegant mid length conclusion.

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a red to dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherry and strawberry infused with spicy clove emanate from the glass trailed by some earthy graphite and smoked meat like notes. Light and savoury the palate features red cherry and rhubarb fruits which meld into a clove, forest floor, smoked meat and spice back drop. Fine grained tannins with an elegant mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Fruit is 60/30/10% Geelong/Henty/Ballarat. A medium, bright crimson red. Brightly fruited with its aromas of red and black fruits, some whole-bunch-derived green peppercorn notes and a little dried rose. Medium bodied, and like the other '24 Provenance pinots, this will need six months or so for the tannins to soften. A well-priced pinot to drink now and over the next three to four years. Drink by 2030.
