2024 Parish Vineyards Pinot Gris

A nicely shaped, crisp, refreshing Pinot Gris.

Brilliant water like core with a faint greenish tinge to the surrounds. Pear, lime and green apple aromas are trailed by delicate fresh herb and stony mineral notes. Pear and green to red apple fruits drive the palate with subtle infusions of fresh herbs, lime and minerals sitting underneath. Nicely shaped it has crisp acidity and a refreshing finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Pinot gris sourced from the parish of Evandale just south of Launceston. Pale with a flash of green and crisp characters of nashi pear, green apple and grapefruit with hints of crushed river stone, fennel, white flowers and lemon pith. Lovely succulent fruit flow on the palate with a wicked saline, mineral-flecked acid line that provides ample drive and focus. This is a cracker! Drink by 2028.
