2024 Paralian Blewitt Springs Grenache Shiraz
Juicy and energetic with a sculptured feel to the relatively elegant finish.
Midnight black core with a vibrant dark red hue. Pepper laced aromas of dark raspberries, liquorice and blackberry are trailed by some vanillin cedar and scorched earth notes. Juicy raspberry, liquorice and blueberry fruits carry an energetic feel across the mid weighted palate. Notions of vanillin cedar and peppered earth sit in the background. Fresh acidity and slightly bony tannins lend a sculptured feel to the relatively elegant finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

Other Reviews…..
60/40% Marmont vineyard grenache/Paralian-owned Springs Hill vineyard shiraz. The most fruit-forward and 'primal' barrels are selected for this. This is delightfully upper mid-weight, joyously fragrant and supple, redolent of cherry juice, roses in bloom, musk, sumac, cinnamon, the gently creeping darker fruit and spice of shiraz latterly joining the grenache lead, adding a little growl to the purr. It’s just such a joy to drink, a wine of immense immediate attraction, though it also has a sculpted line of filigreed tannin and vibrant freshness. It’s a beautiful thing. Drink by 2032.
