2024 Pala Soprasole Vermentino di Sardegna

A snappy dry white featuring crunchy lime, green apple and fresh pear fruits.

Established by Salvatore Pala in 1950, today, over 70 years later Mario Pala represents the third generation of the family to run this famous estate. The winery is located in Serdiana, a small town some 20km from Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia and specialises in Vermentino and Cannonau.
Brilliant pale straw colour with green highlighted edges and a watery hue. Fragrant lime zest and Granny Smith apple scents infused with fresh Mediterranean herbs fly out of the glass trailed by some slatey mineral and saline like notes. Crunchy lime, green apple and fresh pear fruits are delivered with impressive intensity over a back drop of Mediterranean herbs and a saline like minerality. Crisp, snappy acidity, finishing long and zesty.
